TEMPERATURE CABLE
These rugged cables are constructed using a custom plastic and steel aircraft cable extrusion for the outer jacket and laser-cut and machined aluminum mounting brackets. Digital temperature sensors spaced every 4 feet provide repeatable accuracy of +/- .5 degrees C. The sensors are enclosed in a thin tube that can be replaced without removing the cable from the bin. Designed for longevity as well as creating a minimal footprint on the bin, these cables will stand up to years of usage. Pivoting design accommodates a wide range of roof angles.

EMC SENSORS
These sensors are installed outside and in the plenum and roof of the bin. They measure temperature as well as relative humidity which is used by the Bin Controller to calculate the EMC or Equilibrium Moisture Content at each location. This information is used to determine the optimal times to operate aeration equipment for efficient drying, cooling and conditioning of the stored product.
